SHORE POWER REQUIREMENTS
IMPORTANT!! If you tie into shore power, you MUST adhere to the following procedure at all times:
You must have a certified electrician to perform the tie in.
Make sure you get his name, phone number, and the name of the company that employs him for future reference.
You MUST be present when the tie in takes place.
Our coaches are wired 220 volts: 110 volt per leg, single phase. Do not exceed 240 volts combined!
You MUST verify that the power is clean (not fluctuating) and it must be stable between 110-120 volts per leg. Please use your voltmeter to verify this reading.
It is advisable NOT to tie into power that is used for stage lighting and sound…
3 WIRE: Black and White wires are HOT..... Green Wire is the GROUND. / 4 WIRE: Black and Red are HOT... White and Green are Neutral Ground...
If you do not follow these procedures, and the coach is damaged, you will be held liable.
